Social media and the world have been going crazy regarding a freestyle rap that Eminem put out about the US president, Donald Trump.

At the time of posting this, Eminem’s Trump video has garnered more than 37.7million views on one Youtube version alone, 14 million on Facebook. One million people have liked the video and nearly 200,000 have disliked it but they’re all talking about it.
It’s simple – controversy creates conversation, agreement and disagreement. Conversation creates attention. Attention creates cash.
Now, Eminem probably doesn’t like Donald Trump but he has also been able to leverage the attention that is focused in this direction right now to reignite his creative career and his bank account.
If you can figure out ways to create controversy, it will put money in your bank. Not everyone will like it but you’ll get the attention.
